As the Labourer - Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing carpentry and general labour tasks while ensuring quality, efficiency and production objectives are achieved by following the appropriate building code regulations, best practices and Fero standards. Perform general carpentry and installation on modular buildings and other projects, including interior and exterior finishes. Support various trades and/or subcontractors with daily tasks including flooring, drywall, insulation, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.

Safely use various power tools including, but not limited to drills, saws pneumatic tools including, nail guns, staple guns and hand tools when required. Identify and communicate production problems as they arise and take action to correct upon approval from the Supervisor or Production Manager.



Participate in both in-person and online training programs as assigned.

Minimum 2 years of general carpentry experience. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Working knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in the trade. Knowledge of construction industry trends and best practices. Comfortable with technology and MS Office applications; Ability to work overtime and/or weekends if required. Able to work in all weather conditions including outdoors.
