We are hiring a full‑time Carpenter and Carpenter Assistant to join our team for ongoing residential construction work. This role includes a variety of carpentry tasks such as framing, finishing, installations, and general building work. Candidates will work in different residential settings and contribute to the construction, improvement, and maintenance of long‑lasting structures.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Take accurate measurements and calculate material quantities
- Cut, shape, and prepare lumber and other materials
- Build and install doors, windows, frames, stairs, and other components
- Install flooring, roofing, drywall, and related materials
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and general carpentry tasks
- Assist with setup of scaffolding and other temporary structures
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work workplace
Requirements
- Proven carpentry experience (2 years preferred)
- Ability to work with carpentry materials and tools
- Strong understanding of carpentry methods and installation techniques
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Commitment to safety at all times
- Basic English communication skills
Pay: $18.21-$31.03 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
