Industrial Carpenters / Foreman – Ticketed & Experienced Non-Ticketed

Pasquale Mancuso Construction Ltd. (PMCL) is seeking experienced Ticketed and Non-Ticketed Carpenters with industrial concrete and formwork experience to join our team for work in the oil and gas industry.

PMCL is an established Western Canadian industrial and commercial concrete contractor with over 60 years in the construction industry. We are looking for dependable, skilled individuals who take pride in their work and are interested in long-term opportunities and advancement within the company.

Position Responsibilities

Our carpenters perform a wide variety of industrial concrete construction, including:

- Building, erecting and stripping concrete formwork
- Industrial equipment and machinery foundations
- Pump and compressor foundations
- Walls and grade beams
- Structural slabs
- Octagonal and specialty foundations
- Concrete placement and associated pour activities
- Reading and working from construction drawings and specifications
- Constructing formwork accurately to required dimensions, elevations and tolerances
- Working with supervisors, surveyors, QC personnel and other trades to complete work safely and efficiently
- General industrial concrete and carpentry duties as required

What We Are Looking For

Successful applicants should have

- Minimum 2 years of industrial concrete/formwork construction experience
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming and placement
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Ability to work accurately and maintain required dimensions and tolerances
- A robust commitment to safety and quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with industrial concrete construction
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Journeyperson Carpenter certification is preferred; however,



experienced non-ticketed carpenters will also be considered where they can demonstrate equivalent industrial concrete and formwork experience.

Required Safety Certifications

Applicants must possess, or be able to obtain prior to mobilization, the following current certifications:

- CSTS 2020
- H2S Alive
- First Aid with CPR
- WHMIS

Additional safety certifications, equipment tickets and trade qualifications are considered an asset. Travel, Accommodations & Per Diem For applicable out-of-town projects, PMCL provides:
- Company-paid accommodations
- Daily per diem while staying in a hotel
- Transportation between accommodations and the worksite

Specific schedules, rotations and project requirements will vary depending on the project.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 80.0 per week

Experience

- Concrete Carpentry: 2 years (required)
- Industrial Construction: 2 years (preferred)
