Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Handyman/Woman to support us long term in the renovation of our facilities as well as supporting on commercial sites where required.

In this versatile role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry, repair, and renovation projects across commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will help ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties

- Exterior woodwork - fencing, exterior storage buildings, siding
- Light Plumbing & Electrical: Faucet/toilet/vanity swaps, light fixtures, ceiling fans, outlets, and switches.
- Exterior Maintenance: Fascia/rot repair, fence/deck maintenance, pressure washing, and gutters.
- Read and interpret client direction and drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, baseboards, woodworking, and drywall installation.
- Conduct concrete forming, roofing, siding, and tile laying as needed.
- Handle construction painting, caulking, sanding, and finishing to achieve polished results.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as heavy lifting,



assembly, and repairs.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical work where applicable, adhering to safety standards.
- Support restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces.
- Measure materials accurately for construction estimating purposes.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction or handyman roles with a strong background in carpentry and woodworking.
- Hands-on experience with roofing, siding, and tile laying is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, saws) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and effectively.
- Experience with plumbing and electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail on all tasks performed.
- Ability to use skid steer / excavator is a bonus.
