Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at the end of each shift
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Offer excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and providing product recommendations in multiple languages if applicable




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and maximize sales potential
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries

Experience

- Previous retail sales or cashier experience is preferred, especially with technical products or merchandise involving demonstrations
- Robust communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, or customer service roles that involve active engagement with customers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated organizational skills to keep checkout areas tidy and stocked during shifts
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, phone etiquette, and time management strategies to enhance customer interactions
