Role Description The Cashier is a full-time, on-site role based in Ontario, Canada, responsible for handling daily point-of-sale transactions and providing courteous, efficient customer service. This role includes processing cash, card, and electronic payments; issuing receipts; balancing cash drawers; and reconciling payments at the end of each shift. The Cashier will assist customers with inquiries about products, pricing, and basic order information,



while maintaining accurate records and following company policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring the checkout area is organized, monitoring for discrepancies, and collaborating with other team members to support smooth front-office operations.

Qualifications

- Cash handling and point-of-sale skills, including accurate transaction processing and daily reconciliation.
- Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Basic administrative and record-keeping skills for managing receipts, invoices, and transaction logs.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payment or billing discrepancies.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Ontario, Canada, with reliability and solid time management.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and standard office software.
- Previous cashier, retail, or administrative experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training in accounting, office administration, or customer service is an advantage.
