Centre, located in Recent-Wes-Valley, NL, isa key health facility serving the Kittiwake Coast Region. It offers emergency and community health services, often operating with virtual ER support due to staffing. It has 12 inpatient beds, 24-hour Emergency Department, and a lab and Medical Imaging Department, among other services.

Position: Casual Site: DR.Overtime (OT): OT after 40-48 hours Posting Date: September 22, 2026 Patrol Hospital Grounds: Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and security of the site.

Monitor Surveillance Systems: Operate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Access Control : Monitor and control entry points to the hospital, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.

Respond to Emergencies: Act quickly in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats. Assist hospital staff as needed during crises and evacuations.

Provide Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors, patients, and hospital staff. Provide directions and ensure that guests adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Report Writing: Complete reports on incidents, breaches, and security concerns.

Collaboration with Hospital Staff :



Work closely with hospital staff and local law enforcement to provide a coordinated security effort and ensure the safety of all parties involved.

Enforce Hospital Policies: Ensure that hospital policies, including visitor and patient protocols, are followed. Address any violations in a manner that upholds hospital safety standards Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check Tuberculosis (TB) Screening: All healthcare workers must undergo assessment for tuberculosis.

Vaccination Documentation: Proof of completion of the full series of childhood/primary vaccinations is required.

Class 5 Driver License & must be willing to take shifts at sites within a reasonable driving distance. English (oral and written) fluency is a must Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred. Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability.
