Duties

- Assist children and youth with daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Implement individualized support plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, learning, and personal development
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support strategies
- Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities through adaptive techniques and inclusive practices
- Support children during transitions, outings,



or community participation to foster independence
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress, incidents, and activities in compliance with organizational policies

Requirements

- Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or support settings
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to adapt approaches to diverse learning styles
- Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
- Ability to remain energetic, positive, and proactive in a dynamic environment
- Valid certifications in first aid or CPR are mandatory; willingness to obtain required certifications upon hire
- A compassionate attitude combined with patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to support young people’s growth
- Own vehicle mandatory

Pay: $18.46-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 72.0 per week
