Unit Clerk – Temporary Part-Time Location: Mindemoya Starting wage: $30.50-$32.95 per hour based on experience POSITION SUMMARY The Unit Clerk facilitates efficient unit operation and coordinates effective patient flow.

The Unit

Clerk performs various clerical duties such as patient registration, patient transfer, patient discharge and provides support to the nursing units.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Licensure) Required: Graduate of a Nursing Unit Clerk Program, Medical Office Administrator Program or equivalent Preferred: Previous experience as a Unit Clerk COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIOURAL: Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to engage constructively and promote a positive climate within and across internal and/or external groups/partners Service and Quality Orientation: Ability to provide services to customers’ needs in a manner that meets and or exceeds expectations Creativity and Innovation: Ability to generate current and valuable ideas to develop new or improved processes or services COMPETENCIES/TECHNICAL: Proficiency in computer software applications – Microsoft Outlook
