Clinical Placement Coordinator - (69014) Government of Yukon - Health & Social Services - THIF Term/Temporary Full/Part Time Part-time Standard Hours Bi-weekly Saturday/Sunday Travel Open to all Candidates, Preference - Canadian Indigenous Ancestry, Preference - Yukon First Nations ancestry A hiring preference will apply for qualified candidates of Canadian Indigenous ancestry, with a priority for qualified Yukon First Nation candidates. This initiative is in support of Yukon government’s goal for a representative public service. This posting will be used to fill 1 Term position until September 30, 2027, working 60 hours bi-weekly.
The Community and Primary Care (CPC) Division of Health and Social Services has a broad mandate and range of programming.
The Interprofessional
Practice and Chief Nursing Officer branch’s work focuses on professional practice standards, clinical education and policy, and system level efficiencies. The focus of this position is to support consistent administration, standardized and equitable approaches for a variety of health professionals’ clinical practicum placements, education institution agreements and administration of the health and social services bursary program.
This will result in reduced administrative burden for managers and clinicians and contribute to supporting and growing the health and social services workforce.

Experience maintaining electronic and paper records, including data entry and information management, Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working in healthcare systems or setting, Strong client service orientation and commitment to relationship building, Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, Working in an office setting with regular interruptions, Long periods spent working on a computer;
