Join Kinark Child and Family Services as a Clinical Therapist focused on children and youth mental health. Deliver vital therapy and intervention services in Barrie, Ontario. This full time role within our Community-Based Child and Youth Mental Health program requires a Master's Degree in a health-related discipline.
As a Clinical Therapist, you will engage with interdisciplinary teams to conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual, family, and group therapy. Candidate availability for some evenings is essential to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive clinical assessments for clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans integrating team input
- Conduct risk assessments and create safety plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions for youth and families
- Participate in DBT and clinical supervision Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Registered and in good standing with a health regulatory college
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant mental health experience
- Training in DBT or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
