As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role within the Community Based Child and Youth Mental Health program.
Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and offering individual, family, and group therapy to high-risk clients. The role also involves some evening hours to accommodate client needs while engaging with interdisciplinary team members for optimal service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete initial comprehensive assessments for clients
- Conduct risk assessments and formulate safety plans
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and monitor outcomes
- Provide thoughtful dialectical behavior therapy and coaching
- Maintain compliance with documentation and agency standards
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in a Health-Related Discipline
- Registered with a Health Regulatory College
- Minimum 3 years' experience in mental health
- Proficiency in clinical assessment and treatment planning
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle
