Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join their machine shop team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating CNC lathes, with milling experience considered a significant asset. Operate CNC lathes and other CNC machining equipment safely and efficiently Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery to produce parts according to specifications Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications Write, edit,



and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code Use Mastercam to create and modify CNC programs Monitor machining processes andadjustas required to maintain quality and accuracy Troubleshoot machining and programming issues Collaborate with other members of the machine shop and production team Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role Strong experience operating CNC lathesand milling equipment Proficiency with G-code and CNC programming Ability to program CNC jobs independently Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Mechanical and CNC training, with relevant hands-on machining experience Experience operating CNC lathesand mills Familiarity with G-codesand CNC programming Experience creating, editing, and troubleshooting CNC programs Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs Experience working with Haas CNC equipmentconsidered an asset Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software First Aid certificationis considered an asset This is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist who wants to work in a diverse machine shop setting and continue to apply and develop their programming, machining, and technical skills.
