DMG Advocates LLP, a dynamic and growing boutique law firm in Toronto specializing in commercial litigation, is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in litigation and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Manage and support commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution, both as part of a team and independently.

Draft pleadings, motions, applications, affidavits, facta, mediation briefs, and other litigation materials. Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal memoranda. Work directly with partners, senior associates, law clerks, clients, opposing counsel, and experts.

Develop litigation strategy and assist with file management, discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Member in valuable standing with the Law Society of Ontario. ~3–5 years of post-call experience in commercial litigation. ~ Strong drafting, advocacy, analytical, and research skills. ~ Experience using legal technology, document management platforms, Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office tools. ~ Demonstrates a commitment to skills development and an ambition to build a practice in a firm committed to legal excellence.
