The Personal Lines

Broker is a full time, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the broker will advise clients on personal lines products such as home, auto, and tenant insurance, assessing their needs and recommending suitable coverage options from multiple carriers.

Broker will respond to client inquiries, support claims reporting, follow up on outstanding information,



and maintain strong relationships through clear communication and timely service. The role also involves staying current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements, and contributing to team goals and service standards. Conduct in-person client meetings to develop a profitable portfolio of personal lines accounts while delivering an exceptional client experience Present insurance quotations and coverage recommendations professionally, clearly explaining policy features and options to help clients make informed decisions Achieve and exceed individual sales and retention targets through strategic business planning and proactive client engagement Stay current on insurance market trends, carrier products, underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance Computer proficiency with experience using Acturis and Compu-Quote (Applied Rating Services) is an asset Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
