We're building a relationship-oriented bank for the up-to-date world. As a Client Associate, you will work closely with investment advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage their portfolios and develop new business. You'll directly engage with high net worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities and proactively improve the client experience.
You will gain experience to advance your career into other roles within the brokerage environment and CIBC and keep up to date on current domestic and global investment market trends and new products. To successfully perform the work, you'll be on-site full-time Monday through Friday. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.
Client engagement - Focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. Work closely with investment advisors to support business development activities and assist in the building of investment plans based on the client’s profile, goals, and risk/reward tolerance. Relationship building - Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities.
Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities. You have current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) licensing with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID). Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making.
