Position Summary The Complex Supports Navigator supports Individuals Accessing Services (IAS) who require enhanced behavioural, emotional, mental health, communication, environmental, or other complex supports. The position combines practical frontline experience, observation, documentation review, pattern recognition, individualized planning, and staff coaching to help teams respond consistently, proactively, and in ways that improve quality of life.

Working under the direction of the Inclusion Services Specialist, the Complex Supports Navigator promotes person-centred, trauma-informed, strengths-based, least-restrictive, and dignity-focused approaches. The position helps IASs and their support teams understand the function and meaning of behaviour, identify triggers and unmet needs, recognize early signs of distress or escalation, and develop practical strategies that can be used in homes, community settings, routines, transitions, and other day-to-day environments.

If you are looking for a quiet, predictable role where every day looks the same, this won’t be the right fit. If you thrive in changing environments, can stay calm in complex situations, enjoy identifying patterns and practical solutions, and are confident coaching others to provide consistent, person-centred support, keep reading.
