The Operations Compliance
Specialist provides support and assistance to projects.
Responsibilities are varied but include Customer interaction, Audit of all operations employees, subcontractors, Document Control and Briefing new Rules/Procedures, Coordinating the timely delivery of services and updating the management team. The Operations Compliance
Specialist provides support and assistance to projects.
Responsibilities are wide-ranging but include Customer interaction, Audit of all operations employees, subcontractors, Document Control and Briefing new Rules/Procedures, Coordinating the timely delivery of services and updating the management team. Provide coaching and educating to operations employees relating to railway rules and best practices, including but not limited to CROR and TWSI interpretation and application. Complete operational Audits on operations staff and sub-contractors Communicate effectively with the work group being protected, other flagmen and Rail Traffic Controllers using established procedures and radio equipment to ensure the understanding of instructions, track protection limits, work site hazards and other specific site conditions.
Tracking and documenting project schedule activity, start, finish, % complete and major milestones. Tracking and collection of documentation for extra work,
submittals and backup for billing purposes. Acts as a leader in Safety and Quality by adhering to and promoting plans, policies and procedures.
Performs other related administrative or project-based duties as assigned. Liaise with Document Control team to aid in distribution of required bulletins and other operational documents. Graduation from a recognized post-secondary engineering or technical program in a related field is preferred.
Exceptional analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills. Clean driving record and ability to travel as required. Overnight travel to job sites is required. Exposure to outdoor construction sites in all weather conditions.
