Pay: $62,000 – $84,000 per year, based on experience

About Humble Creek Homes

Humble Creek is a construction company working in both Residential and Commercial. We build new homes, take on renovations of every size, and support development projects from early site work through to occupancy. We're growing, and we need a Project Manager who can run several jobs at once and deliver each one on time, on budget and to a high standard.

What You'll Do

- Plan every project: set the scope, schedule, budget and resources for new builds, renovations and commercial fit-outs.
- Read and apply drawings: interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings so the work in the field matches the design.
- Coordinate the team: manage architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, developers and municipal inspectors.
- Keep jobs moving: track progress, adjust schedules and crews to hold deadlines, and flag delays early along with what they cost.
- Estimate and control costs: prepare estimates and quotes, manage budgets, and track change orders.
- Run several projects at once across residential and commercial without letting quality slip.
- Lead safety and compliance: enforce site safety and keep work compliant with the Ontario Building Code and Ontario health and safety law (OHSA).
- Inspect and close out: do regular site walks, manage deficiency lists, and handle handover to the client.
- Communicate: run project meetings and give clients, developers and ownership clear progress updates.

What You Bring





- A proven record in construction project management across residential, commercial or both.
- Experience with both new construction and renovations.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with construction estimating and cost control.
- Willing to step in and handle smaller or routine tasks when needed, with no hesitation, to keep projects moving, schedules on track, and the jobsite running smoothly.
- Strong computer skills: proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
- Project management software: hands-on experience with construction and project management tools such as Buildertrend and MS Project. Experience with similar platforms (e.g., Procore, CoConstruct, Monday.com, Smartsheet) is an asset. Ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- An understanding of civil engineering and site work basics.
- Solid knowledge of Ontario construction safety standards.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- A valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable truck.

Nice to Have

- A PMP, a Gold Seal, or a construction or civil engineering technology diploma
- Experience working for or with developers on multi-unit or mixed-use projects
- Working Supervisor Health and Safety certification
