Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support global money transfer and cross-border payment applications. The role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze payment flows, support reporting, and lead end-to-end project delivery.

Contract: 6 months Location: Toronto - Hybrid, minimum 2 days onsite per week Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Interview Process: 2 rounds - virtual and in-person Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for global money transfer and payment initiatives. Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, process flows, and workflows. Analyze end-to-end payment flows, customer journeys, and downstream systems.

Use SQL for data analysis, validation, investigation, and reconciliation. Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business insights and decision-making.



Support UAT, testing, implementation, and defect resolution activities.

Lead project discussions and coordinate with cross-functional business and technology teams. Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items. Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations to stakeholders. 7+ years of Business Analyst experience. ~4+ years of experience with SQL and Power BI . ~ Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and UAT. ~ Experience working across business and technology teams. ~ Knowledge of AI and its business applications .

Knowledge of payment rails such as ACH, SWIFT, ISO 20022, Interac, wires, or cards .

Experience with large-scale transformation or technology projects.
