Enhance workplace safety with Elk Valley Resources as a Coordinator, Safety & Loss Control in beautiful British Columbia. This role focuses on health and safety programs while supporting operational groups effectively. Reporting to the Supervisor of Safety and Loss Control, you will engage with contractors and employees to ensure safe operational practices and manage high potential risk initiatives.

Ideal candidates will be self-motivated with solid communication skills and a commitment to health and safety. You will play a critical role in developing and executing safety programs essential to the long-term success of operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in safety programs and policy adherence
- Support operations with health and safety initiatives
- Conduct health and safety audits and verifications
- Coach and mentor contract management strategies
- Present health and safety materials to teams Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite®
- Knowledge of HSRC regulations
- Health and Safety Certification is an asset
