Reporting to senior leadership, this role manages a team of estimators and ensures competitive pricing and effective contract execution aligned with project budgets and schedules. Through strategic negotiation, risk assessment, and value engineering, the Contract Manager supports the successful delivery of vibrant communities while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Lead tendering and bid evaluation for residential community projects. Manage and mentor a team of low-rise estimators, fostering collaboration and growth. Monitor contract compliance, change orders, and performance.
Identify budget risks and scope changes to control costs proactively. Here’s what will help you stand out. Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience. ~Leadership experience managing teams (asset). ~ Robust understanding of residential construction methods, Ontario Building Codes, and trade scopes. ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
