Salary Range: $50k - $55K – starting salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications

Position Summary The Coordinator, Creative Design supports IGNITE's creative and marketing initiatives through the coordination and production of engaging multimedia content across digital and physical platforms. Reporting to the Manager, Creative Design, this role oversees video production, photography, digital signage, and content creation while providing day-to-day leadership to a team of part time student Videographers. The Coordinator manages projects from concept to completion, ensures brand consistency and accessibility standards are met, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver content that enhances student engagement and the overall student experience.
What you can expect in a Coordinator, Creative Design role at IGNITE:
- Lead and coordinate video, photography, and multimedia productions that support IGNITE campaigns, events, services, and student initiatives.
- Provide creative direction and technical guidance to a team of part-time student Videographers.
- Plan and oversee multimedia projects from concept development through final delivery.
- Coordinate production schedules, event coverage, equipment logistics, and shoot planning.
- Support the development and growth of IGNITE's video content channels, including YouTube and digital signage platforms.
- Monitor video analytics and audience engagement metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications colleagues to bring campaign ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling.
- Support the Manager, Creative Design with operational and administrative tasks that contribute to the success of the creative team.
- Provide occasional support to graphic design projects and creative reviews as required.
What you bring:

- Two (2) to three (3) years of professional experience in multimedia production, videography, photography, broadcasting, digital media, or a related field.
- Diploma or degree in Film Production, Broadcasting, Media Production, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related discipline.
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud applications.
- Experience shooting with DSLR or mirrorless camera systems and professional production equipment.
- Strong visual storytelling and content creation skills.
- Experience leading multiple projects, production schedules, and providing guidance to team members is considered an asset.
- Experience producing content for YouTube and social media platforms is an asset.
- Knowledge of AODA accessibility requirements is preferred.
