Coordinator – Parking Ambassadors Posting Scope: Internal / External Posted Date: September 8, 2026 Department: Finance Friday to Monday ( 17.5 to 35 hour work week) – Continuous (Part-Time) Salary: $44.25 per hour, Pay Grade 11 Employee Group: This is a CUPE Local 50 position responsible for supervision of Parking Ambassadors, support of Parking Services administration including answering emails and phone calls. 15 full time and various part-time and auxiliary) involved in City parking ambassador functions; ensure schedules, procedures and established performance and safety standards are met; provide employee training and input to performance appraisals; complete bi-weekly time sheets. Conduct site inspections to check condition and safety of City parkades; maintain inventory of supplies, tickets and equipment at ambassador offices; maintain parkade security video system; Support Parking Services administration with phone calls and responding to emails (including parking ticket reviews); respond to enquiries and complaints from the public regarding general parking information.

Level operation of current City word processing, spreadsheet and related specialty software. Diplomacy when dealing effectively with the public and outside agencies.

Formal

Education, Training and Occupational Certification: High school graduation. Current and valid Class 5 B.May be requested to substitute in a more senior position.
