The Ocean Freight

Coordinator is responsible for coordinating international shipments and ensuring the efficient movement of cargo from origin to destination. This role will have a strong focus on Ocean Freight coordination, with Air Freight experience considered a valuable asset. The ideal candidate is an experienced logistics professional with strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments while maintaining clear communication with customers, agents, carriers, and internal teams.

Coordinate Ocean

Freight shipments from origin to destination, including booking, documentation, pre-alerts, tracking, and delivery.

Support Air

Freight shipments and coordinate with airlines, agents, truckers, and other service providers as required. Communicate with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment information. Prepare and issue shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, pre-alerts, and other required documents.

Monitor shipments and provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Coordinate and follow up on pickups,



deliveries, and Proofs of Delivery (PODs). Obtain and negotiate freight rates with carriers and service providers to support competitive pricing.

Review and reconcile shipment costs, pending charges, payables, and profit-share requests. Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time. Assist with claims and other shipment-related issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.

Identify and resolve operational issues while maintaining a high level of customer service. Perform other logistics-related duties as assigned. 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with strong experience in Ocean Freight operations. ~ Air Freight experience is considered a strong asset. ~ Solid understanding of international freight forwarding processes, documentation, and shipment coordination. ~ Experience working with ocean carriers, airlines, agents, trucking companies, and other logistics service providers. ~ Solid customer service and communication skills. ~ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with shipping documentation and financial transactions. ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. ~ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred; Continuous Training: Sharpen your skills and advance your expertise with our professional development programs.
