Role Description The Cosmetic Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, primarily at the Richmond Hill clinic. This role involves performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as injectable treatments (e.g., neuromodulators and dermal fillers), laser hair removal treatments, PRP for hair restoration, and body contouring procedures in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.

The Cosmetic Nurse conducts thorough client consultations, assesses needs and medical histories, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides pre- and post-treatment care instructions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, monitoring treatment outcomes,



ensuring safe use of medical devices and products, and supporting a welcoming, inclusive environment. The role also involves collaborating with health care providers and other clinical staff, participating in training on new technologies, and educating clients about available services and realistic expectations.

Qualifications

- Current nursing license (e.g., RN or RPN) in good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body, with eligibility to practice in Ontario.
- Experience or formal training in cosmetic nursing, medical aesthetics, or dermatology, including injectable treatments and laser-based procedures.
- Strong client assessment skills, including medical history review, skin assessment, and treatment planning, with a focus on safety and risk management.
- Ability to learn and operate cosmetic technologies (e.g., laser devices, body contouring systems, PRP equipment) following clinical protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain procedures, manage expectations, and provide supportive, non-judgmental client care.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills for charting treatments, outcomes, and follow-up plans in line with regulatory and clinic standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control, hygiene, and clinical safety practices in a medical cosmetic setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members and adapt to a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
