Cost Analyst Location: Bedford, NS - Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day at home) Contract Length: 6 Months We at Raise are hiring a Cost Analyst for one of our top clients. Investigate reconciliation discrepancies and coordinate resolution with vendor and trading business Arrange vendor payment through accounts payable or manual payment Prepare reports for and respond to inquiries from various parties including the trading business, product control, financial control Perform cost analysis identifying material trends and drivers and/or opportunities for savings Perform business analysis and testing in relation to onboarding of recent invoices or enhancements to processing of existing invoices Work on assigned projects in the areas of process improvement and automation Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, ~Familiarity with Capital Markets products and various associated supporting systems used within organization (Fixed Income, Money Markets, Equities, Derivatives, etc.)



~ Understanding of accounting procedures and systems ~ Ability to communicate complex information clearly to trading business and senior management ~ Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Excel Understanding of Capital Markets organizational structure (including front office sales and trading, middle office, product control, back-office operations, regulatory/compliance, etc.) We can help!
