Become a Counsellor at the Blood Tribe Iitakamotsiipiohsopi Recovery Community in Moses Lake, AB, focusing on individual and group counselling for addiction recovery. Engage with clients in a compassionate setting. In this full-time role, you will report to the Program Manager, contributing to a clinical team dedicated to client recovery.

Your responsibilities will include assessing needs, facilitating group therapy, and collaboratively developing recovery plans. Knowledge of addiction and de-escalation techniques will enable you to support clients effectively. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments and counselling sessions
- Facilitate group therapy using evidence-based approaches
- Collaborate with clients on recovery strategies
- Provide necessary crisis intervention support
- Maintain confidentiality in client records

Requirements:

- Certification or licensure as a counsellor
- Educational background in psychology or social work
- Previous experience in addiction treatment preferred
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of Blackfoot Culture is an asset
