Foundation seeks compassionate individuals for its Counselor II/III role within its Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. Your expertise in evidence-based practices will facilitate transformative classes and individual sessions for participants. You'll document progress and collaborate with institutional staff while playing a crucial role in community rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curricula
- Conduct individual sessions for release prevention planning
- Evaluate and document participant progress and engagement
- Record service delivery in ARMS accurately
- Work collaboratively with CDCR and contracted staff
Requirements:
- AOD Counselor certification required for both levels
- Counselor III requires one year full time AOD counseling experience
- Commitment to community support and integration
- Ability to foster trust and build relationships
- Experience in a therapeutic or educational setting
