Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this vital role, you will be support our water and gas meter projects being the friendly voice and helpful presence for our customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. Duties
- Answer inbound customer calls for water and gas projects during your scheduled shift.
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, arrange reschedules, and provide project and service updates.
- Coordinate and assign water technicians to scheduled appointments and service requests, adjusting assignments as needed.
- Coordinate gas relights and follow-up, including identifying the appropriate technician and supporting dispatch.
- Follow established coverage procedures and escalation paths for urgent requests, scheduling conflicts, and unresolved customer concerns.
- Monitor voicemail and return customer calls promptly.
- Accurately document call outcomes, appointment changes, technician assignments, and follow-up actions in internal systems.
- Communicate updates to field teams and provide clear handoffs between shifts.
Requirements
- Availability to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, within operating hours of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
- Strong telephone communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple appointments, assignments, and customer requests.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in time-sensitive situations.
- Comfort using computer systems, maintaining accurate records, and following structured processes and escalation procedures.
- Previous call centre, dispatch, scheduling, or customer operations experience preferred.
- Experience supporting utility projects or emergency response is an asset.
What Success Looks Like
- Customer calls, appointments, and gas relights are handled within client service targets.
- Water technician assignments are accurate and communicated promptly.
- Callbacks and follow-up actions are completed on time.
- Records are accurate, and shift handoffs support continuity of service.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
