Cybersecurity Analyst - Operations Cybersecurity Analyst - Operations Language requirement: Spoken and written competence in English Location: On-site or hybrid at ANBL's Retail Operations Centre in Fredericton, NB Alcool NB Liquor (ANBL) is a provincial Crown corporation responsible for the purchase, importation, distribution, and retail activity for all beverage alcohol in the province. Our sister company, Cannabis NB (CNB), manages retail cannabis sales for the province, providing safe and legal products while focusing on education, safety and responsible access. Together, ANBL & CNB return 100% of profits to the Government of New Brunswick to benefit all New Brunswickers while responsibly serving customer and communities across the province.

About the Cybersecurity Analyst - Operations role Integrity, Caring, Trust,



Community and Celebration . Reporting to the Cybersecurity Manager, the Cybersecurity Analyst - Operations will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across the organization. This position is ideal for a security professional who enjoys hands-on security operation, threat hunting, incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls.

Ensure that business activities within area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures to minimize business risk and to protect the reputation of the organization. Technical stack Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Intune 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Security Engineering, SOC, or related security roles. ~ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, including KQL development, analytics tuning, incident investigation, and automation. ~ Strong experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, including Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps. ~ Practical experience administering Microsoft Intune compliance policies, device configurations, and security baselines. ~ Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID,



Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). ~ Experience implementing or assessing controls aligned to NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks. ~ Experience with Microsoft Purview, DLP, Information Protection, or data governance initiatives. ~ Strong understanding of incident response processes, playbooks, and cyber resilience practices. ~ Experience creating operational and executive dashboards using Power BI. ~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Would be an asset if you had: Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Tech Savvy: Anticipates and adopts innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.

Decision Quality: Maneuvers comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics. Bilingualismin both official languagesis an asset, but not required Semi-regular travel for meetings and project work may be required.
