The Data Analyst, Reporting is responsible for delivering accurate financial and business reporting and providing insights that support the needs of clients and internal stakeholders. Prepare data from various sources for reporting and analysis in Excel, Power BI and other business intelligence tools. Interpret financial and business information to identify trends, risks and relevant insights for stakeholders.

Validate and reconcile reports, dashboards and underlying data, resolving discrepancies before distribution. Maintain documentation for data sources, reporting requirements, calculations and processes. Review reports, dashboards and supporting analysis prepared by other Analysts for accuracy, completeness and appropriate interpretation.

Provide financial data, reporting and analytical support for projects and firm initiatives. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with expert knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, is required. ~ Working knowledge of SQL and Power Query in Excel is required.

Experience with Power BI Desktop, MDX, and/or DAX would be an asset. ~ Experience in extracting data from a complex accounting system is required.

Experience with 3E would be an asset. ~ Robust aptitude for utilizing technology and continuous process improvement.
