Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist specializing in machine learning to drive their genomics research initiatives, operating in a fully remote capacity. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives on complex challenges, possesses strong analytical skills, and is passionate about leveraging AI and ML to advance biological understanding, all from the comfort of their home office. Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for genomic data analysis, including variant calling, imputation, and phenotype prediction.

Design and execute data mining strategies to identify patterns and correlations within large-scale genomic datasets. Collaborate with domain experts to translate biological questions into data science problems. Build and maintain robust data pipelines for processing and analyzing genomic information.

Visualize complex data and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.



Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and genomics research. D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on machine learning applications in biology or genomics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with ML libraries (e.g., Experience working with large biological datasets, particularly genomic, transcriptomic, or proteomic data. Solid understanding of statistical methods and model evaluation techniques.
