Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk with enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring optimal patient flow.
- Verify patient insurance details and process billing using electronic medical records systems, maintaining accuracy at all times.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with confidence, directing calls promptly and professionally.
- Manage patient records meticulously, updating information in electronic medical records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Coordinate with dental providers to confirm treatment plans and follow-up appointments.




- Support the administrative team by preparing reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized office files.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office workplace, demonstrating familiarity with daily operations.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or Dentrix.
- Prior experience working with medical or dental office administrative tasks, including insurance verification and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of managing multi-line phone systems and providing outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency in office software applications and experience managing electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments with energy, positivity, and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in medical office settings or front desk roles is highly desirable.
