Tooth Pals Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Dental Administrator to join our team!
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous dental administration/front-desk experience
- Is highly comfortable and experienced using Dentrix
- Is friendly, professional, and confident communicating with patients and families
- Has excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Is dependable, punctual, and works well as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys creating a welcoming experience for children and their parents
- Can work efficiently in a busy dental environment
- Multi lingual a bonus!
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk through the door
- Anxiety Relief - calm nervous patients by creating a welcoming environment
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments via phone, text, and email
- Adjust schedule for dental emergencies and fill cancellations utilizing the waitlist
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls efficiently, and handle appointment requests
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately
- Maintain electronic dental records and ensure all patient documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely patient flow
- Verify insurance coverages, submit claims and handle disputes
Skills
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist
- Highly productive in Dentrix
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
- Knowledge of dental terminology to accurately assist patients and staff
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling and recordkeeping
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
- Prior experience with dental office procedures, including insurance verification and billing processes

Pay: $19.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
