Experienced Auto Detailer

Location: Didsbury & Carstairs, AB

Position Type: Full-Time (Monday – Saturday)

Hours:

- Didsbury: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Carstairs: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

Overview

We are looking for a reliable, experienced Auto Detailer & Shop Assistant who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and operates with total self-sufficiency. This position requires someone with a solid background in automotive detailing who can hit the ground running with little to no supervision.

Because we operate across two shop locations in Didsbury and Carstairs, you must have your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license to commute between sites depending on the schedule.

If you are a self-starter who works well independently or alongside a team, handles customer interactions professionally, and doesn't mind stepping up to assist with general shop tasks when needed, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Vehicle Detailing: Perform complete interior and exterior detailing (washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing) to high professional standards with minimal guidance.
- Multi-Site Travel: Commute reliably between our Didsbury and Carstairs locations as scheduled.
- Client Interaction: Greet clients professionally, answer basic questions, and deliver friendly customer service.
- Shop Upkeep: Keep detailing bays, tools, and work areas clean,



organized, and stocked.
- General Shop Assistance: Pitch in with non-detailing tasks as needed, including general shop cleaning and day-to-day shop chores.
- Teamwork & Autonomy: Work efficiently on your own or alongside team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Industry Experience Required: Proven professional experience in automotive detailing. Must be familiar with standard detailing tools, chemicals, and techniques.
- Reliable Transportation: Valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle to travel to both Didsbury and Carstairs.
- Self-Motivated: Strong work ethic with the ability to manage your workload without needing constant guidance.
- Flexible & Adaptable: Comfortable doing work outside the realm of detailing, such as shop maintenance and speaking with clients.
- Schedule Availability: Available to work Monday through Saturday during operating hours.
- Communication Skills: Clear and qualified communication when interacting with clients and team members.
