Corporation (BCI) is currently seeking DevSecOps co-op student/intern for the Winter & Summer 2027 work term to provide technical expertise across several DevSecOps initiatives, including the creation of CI/CD pipelines, integration and automated deployment of power platform solutions. BCI manages a globally diversified portfolio of assets valued at $313.7 billion and is one of Canada's largest institutional investors. We invest globally to support pension and other funds for more than 30 clients based in British Columbia.

Platform administrators for several mission critical applications that provides secondary support in addition to development within the platforms. Work under the supervision of the DevSecOps Manager to assist with various projects Implementation of deployment pipelines with a focus on automation Champion the practice of CI/CD as well as automated testing of code Research best of breed software and tools that will help advance DevSecOps at BCI Conduct surveys of existing deployment practices and seek out ways to streamline the processes and automate where possible.
Ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the team Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, excellent product quality, and attention to detail Familiarity with Bloomberg would be an asset Excellent career development and training by helping the candidate understand the existing tools, challenges and problem solving. ~ The ability to opt-in for access to Dialogue, a user-friendly app that offers virtual primary care, employee and family services,
and mental health supports. ~ Time to connect with co-op students & interns at BCI – build your network and shared learning. ~Competitive pay: $2,330.00 gross bi-weekly or $2,155.00 gross bi-weekly + vacation leave paid based on 6% of salary ($2,330.00 gross biweekly for those with (or working towards) a graduate degree and $2,155.00 gross biweekly for those with (or working towards) an undergraduate degree, diploma, or certificate). ~ Travel: if coming to Victoria for this work term, BCI will provide a fixed-rate travel allowance based on your location. Winter & Summer 2027 (January to August) Technology Office All co-ops/internships will need to be completed in person at our Victoria office with the option to work one day per week from home.
