Reports to: Food Service Manager The Dietary Aide provides support to the setup, preparation, serving and cleaning associated with all meal services in the Home. Ensuring food is handled in a secure manner, including proper storage and labeling Assisting cooks in basic food preparation Executing proper food service in relation to internal and external guidelines and protocols Serving meals according to Resident diet orders Washing,



cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining room Mandatory enrollment or completion of a College Level Food Service Worker Program, meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act Possess a current Safe Food Handling Certificate Have a caring heart with a passion for serving others Passion for providing quality care to residents in a long-term care setting Completion of a 2 Step TB Skin test within the last 12 months of start date.
