Duties

- Assist individuals with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support with medication administration according to care plans and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper hygiene and safety standards are maintained
- Provide patient care by monitoring health conditions, reporting changes, and collaborating with healthcare professionals when necessary
- Engage residents or clients in recreational activities, socialization, and skill-building exercises to foster community involvement
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning living areas, laundry,



and maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with transfers, heavy lifting, and mobility support using proper techniques to ensure safety for both the individual and caregiver

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care is highly valued
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and caregiving responsibilities
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia enhances your ability to provide tailored support
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting with mobility or transfers
- Excellent communication skills for interacting compassionately with clients, families, and team members
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Reliable, flexible, and motivated to deliver high-quality care in dynamic environments
