Boniface

Hospital, the ADVANCED WOUND CARE NURSE is responsible for the overall provision of expert nursing care for patients with complex lower limb wounds; advancing nursing practice in this area of specialization; Three (3) years of recent experience in surgical nursing required. Preference will be given to those candidates with specialized wound care nursing experience. Baccalaureate of Nursing required, or equivalent combination of education and experience at theBaccalaureate level will be considered.

Successful completion of a recognized advanced wound care program required including, but not limited to, the Interprofessional Interdisciplinary Wound Care Course (IIWCC), the Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) program.





- Registration with Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC), the International Interdisciplinary Wound Care Course (IIWCC) or equivalent wound care professional organization, preferred. *NOTE: If there are no applicants meeting the advanced wound care nursing program requirement, consideration will be given to those applicants meeting the enrollment eligibility requirements for a recognized program.
