Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure a hygienic workspace
- Support the food service team by restocking supplies and organizing dishware and utensils for efficient service
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation




- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to promote an environmentally responsible kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth kitchen operations

Experience

- Prior experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting
