- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through proper washing and sanitizing procedures
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items according to recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of ingredients and waste
- Help with light cooking duties as assigned to support meal prep during busy service times




- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards by regularly cleaning work stations, floors, and storage areas
- Collaborate effectively with team members to uphold a positive work environment focused on hospitality excellence

Qualifications

- Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, ovens, or prep stations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory
