The Associate will integrate DEI practices into daily operations while also developing resources, coordinating projects, and enhancing community relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about driving change in healthcare. Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of DEI objectives with program managers
- Develop communication materials and resources for initiatives
- Coordinate and lead special DEI projects as needed
- Network with community partners and healthcare peers
- Assist Employee Resource Groups with engagement activities Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant studies or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in DEI or health equity program roles
- Familiarity with human rights legislation in Ontario
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience working within healthcare settings preferred Drive equity and inclusion efforts at Southlake Health to make meaningful changes in the Newmarket community.
