About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to support the effective delivery of building services and project works. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring information is accurate, controlled and issued in accordance with company and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain project document control systems, registers and records.
- Manage the receipt, distribution, filing and archiving of project documentation.
- Control drawings, revisions and technical information, ensuring the latest versions are available.
- Maintain drawing registers, transmittal logs and document trackers.
- Track document submissions, reviews, approvals and outstanding actions.
- Prepare document transmittals, status reports and project information.
- Support project teams with reporting and general project administration.
- Maintain information using EDMS platforms such as Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, SharePoint, Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Support ISO 9001 processes, document audits and quality/compliance checks.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers regarding documentation requirements.
- Provide guidance to project teams on document control processes and procedures.
- Coordinate project handover documentation, including as-built drawings and O&M; manuals.
- Ensure completed project records are accurately archived and retained.

About You You will have previous Document Controller experience within construction, building services, engineering or FM,



together with a good understanding of project documentation and information-management processes.

You will ideally have

- Previous experience using an electronic document management system (EDMS).
- Experience controlling drawings, technical documents and revisions.
- Knowledge of document registers, transmittals and approval workflows.
- Experience supporting project handover and close-out documentation.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to work with multiple project stakeholders.
- An understanding of quality assurance and controlled-document processes.
