We specialize in consulting, engineering, procurement and construction across the project lifecycle, with services extending through to operations and decommissioning. Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Document Controller.
This is a full‑time position based in Toronto, Ontario. Handle, upload, and manage engineering, contractor, and vendor documentation within Aconex. Distribute documents to the appropriate stakeholders, manage access permissions, and maintain version control to ensure the use of current, approved document revisions.
Provide document management support to project team members and external stakeholders, including bidders, vendors, contractors, consultants, and clients. Verify all documents entered into the system to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
Facilitate and expedite document review and approval workflows, and monitor and report the status of internally developed, supplier, and third‑party documents.
Provide backup document control support to project teams as required. Ensure document management databases and systems are maintained to support optimal performance, data integrity, and security.
Technical and Industry Experience: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as Adobe Acrobat. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications and technology platforms. Robust database management and advanced computer skills;
experience with document management systems is considered an asset.
Experience within the industrial construction, engineering, or EPC industry is considered an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal, organizational, and relationship‑building abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment while also performing effectively with minimal supervision. Strong customer service mindset with a proactive approach to supporting internal and external clients.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Bachelor's degree required.
Prior Document
Control experience in the same industry is preferred. For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $ 77,000 to $90,000 CAD. Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
