Job Summary

Join our dynamic millwork company as a Drafting Person, where your expertise will bring architectural visions to life through exact and detailed drawings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to develop accurate millwork schematics and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) models that ensure seamless fabrication and installation. Your creative problem-solving skills and technical proficiency will drive the success of our custom woodworking projects, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

Duties

Create detailed 2D drafting drawings for millwork components using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp.

Develop schematics and technical layouts that clearly communicate design intent to manufacturing teams.

Interpret architectural and engineering plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Collaborate with project managers and designers to modify drawings based on feedback or site conditions.

Qualifications





Proven experience in drafting within a millwork or construction environment is highly preferred.

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Mozaik optional.

Strong understanding of drafting principles, schematics development, and technical documentation.

Familiarity with construction processes and materials used in millwork fabrication.

Ability to interpret architectural plans and translate them into precise manufacturing drawings.

Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
