Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dependable Driver for Seniors Home & Maintenance to provide safe, reliable transportation and maintenance support for our senior residents. This vital role ensures residents can access essential appointments, social activities, and community events while maintaining a comfortable, well-kept environment. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming atmosphere and enhance the quality of life for our seniors.

Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport seniors to medical appointments, shopping trips, recreational activities, and other outings.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, offering respectful and compassionate support.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging in friendly conversations and addressing residents’ needs courteously.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks around the facility, including minor repairs, furniture moving, or yard work as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies or furniture safely,



following proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, vehicle maintenance records, and resident interactions.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or transportation services.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and interact positively with residents.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing a high standard of care.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety protocols is preferred but not required.
