Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our London, ON team. In this role, you will securely load, transport, and unload goods and materials, and ensure safe, efficient moving practices while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in goods and material handling, inventory control and tracking, and commercial driving.

They will possess effective communication skills to collaborate with our team and deliver exceptional customer service to clients.

Responsibilities

- Prepare moving equipment and inspect company vehicles
- Operate moving equipment and vehicles, including forklifts and commercial trucks.
- Assist in packing and organizing items for transport; safely load and unload goods and materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble furniture as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and during transport.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Available for travel to various job sites outside of London.

Skills

- Previous experience is preferred, including basic knowledge of safe packing practices.
- Meticulous attention to detail and care when handling goods and materials.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the day while navigating stairs and tight spaces.
- Adaptability to changing job sites and conditions.
- Ability to attend work regularly and adhere to schedules.
- Dedication to workplace safety and a commitment to following company policies and procedures.
- A valid Class G driver’s license and clean driving record are an asset; a valid commercial driver's license (CDL, Class D) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on achieving shared goals efficiently.
