Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator to join our Highway Crew, based out of Crescent Valley, BC. This position requires frequent travel to support highway projects across the region. Determine speed and direction of machine based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures.





Preferably 1–2 seasons of experience operating a roller on municipal and industrial/commercial base and paving projects. Must be proficient in operating a roller and demonstrate strong safety awareness, with a commitment to following all company policies and safety standards. Effective communication with other operators, truck drivers, and the public is essential.

Must be capable of operating and maintaining the roller with minimal supervision. Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required Willing to work in field and in all weather conditions Willing to work overtime (may include weekends) during the busy season (April to October) and on call as necessary. selected candidate must pass drug and alcohol testing as required. This is a unionized position with an anticipated wage of $36.47-$38.73 CAD per hour.
