Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with Infant and Toddler Certification to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored for infants and toddlers that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Provide attentive care that meets each child's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as required
- Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support developmental goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental progress, attendance records, and classroom activities
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies at all times
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices for infants and toddlers
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom routines, documentation, and activity planning efficiently
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support team members while managing classroom dynamics
- Exceptional time management skills to balance caregiving duties with instructional responsibilities
- Writing skills necessary for detailed documentation of child development progress and incident reports
